CLOSURE to a large section of Newport's Medina Way dual carriageway over two days this coming week — to allow for work on the key Isle of Wight road — may cause traffic disruption. 

Contractor, Island Roads, will be undertaking road marking works, over three shifts, sometime between Tuesday, April 23 and Wednesday, April 24.

The road will be closed for the northbound lanes, between its junctions with Coppins Bridge and Parkhurst Road.

Diversions will be in place.
