The case of an alleged drink driver, who is said to have collided with a parked car and later careered off the road near an Isle of Wight airport, will go to trial later this year.
Jason Stone, of Garfield Road, Ryde, pleaded not guilty to drink driving at the Isle of Wight Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, April 2.
It is alleged that the 39-year-old collided with a parked Mini Cooper while driving a Ford Transit van before leaving the road through a hedge near Bembridge Airport.
Mr Stone denies that he was operating the vehicle while almost three-and-a-half times over the drink-drive limit.
Magistrates granted Mr Stone conditional bail ahead of a trial in the same court on July 18.
