Thank you to everyone who shared their success photos from this year’s Isle of Wight Music, Dance and Drama Festival (IWMDDF) with the County Press.
We have received many success stories from the 2024 festival, and we are continuing to showcase as many as possible online and in our Friday newspaper.

Nancy Borrett’s School of Violin, which included children ranging from four to 15, won both of their classes, coming first in the string ensemble and winning the 9 years and under unison class.
Aria Morgan secured second place in the 7 years and under ballet solo and 10 years and under acro solo, both with 85 marks.
She joined with Diwata Vu and Auriella Adams to win the 10 years and under ballet classical trio/quartet.
Imogen Shephard came third, with 84 marks, in the 8 years and under ballet solo and 10 years and under acro solo classes.
Lucy Hiroko Brown took home her trophy and certificate after winning the 14-15 years violin class.
Evie Bridgeman, who dances for Fusion Arts Academy, claimed second place in the freestyle solo, third in tap solo and fourth in her musical theatre classes.
She teamed up with Jazzmin Salter to secure another silver in the freestyle duet.
Beth James, Hugh Ramsey and Alyssia Wade, who are all students at Nancy Borrett School of Violin, are celebrating their success at this year’s IWMMDF.
Beth was very pleased to win the 10-11 year solo violin class.
Hugh was delighted to win his 9 years and under solo violin class.
Alyssia won her first violin competition in the violin solo beginner class.
