A hairdressers on the Isle of Wight has made the cut for a national awards ceremony after being selected as a finalist.
Odessey's Academy, Newport, has been shortlisted in the Best New Salon category at the UK Hair and Beauty Awards 2024.
The salon and barbershop moved into its Pyle Street home, in the heart of the town, in January. For more than 30 years, the building was formerly home to shop, Tri-First.
Odessey's owner Charlotte Kingsland said: "The team are in shock but so happy!"

The UK Hair and Beauty Awards sees members of the industry come together each year to celebrate.
Its mission is to support businesses of all sizes.
The process culminates with a red carpet event later in the year, which also features celebrity guests, hosts and entertainment.
