An Isle of Wight arts centre has spoken of its 'upset' after 'several' charity boxes were reportedly stolen from the venue.
Quay Arts, Newport said it suspects they were taken on Friday, March 22 and has reported it to police.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary confirmed it has received the report and it estimates the alleged thefts occurred between 9am and 5pm.
The charity boxes contained donations to the Quay Arts charity, as well as Isle of Wight Defibrillators and Terrence Higgins Trust.
A spokesperson for the venue said: "We are very upset to discover that several charity boxes have been stolen from the venue.
"All you lovely people that have been kind enough to donate...
"We are sorry to say that all the donations have been taken."
They said they hope no other Newport businesses have lost donations or have had anything taken from them.
Police are urging anyone with information to contact them, quoting reference 44240129250.
