A caravan has been destroyed in a fire at a farm on the Isle of Wight this afternoon (Tuesday, March 26).
Multiple fire crews from across the Island, including Freshwater, Ryde, Shanklin and Ventnor, were sent to the scene at Borthwood Farm in Alverstone at 1.20pm.
Firefighters used breathing apparatus, hose reels and jets to put out the blaze.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service confirmed the mobile home was "destroyed in the fire."
Island fire crews returned to their stations at around 3.30pm.
A spokesperson from Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary told the County Press that police are aware of the incident, but the fire service is leading operations at the moment.
