AN ISLE of Wight man will stand trial later this year, accused of stalking and assaulting a woman.
Jamie Matlock, of Hope Mead, Newchurch, appeared before Isle of Wight magistrates via video link on Friday, March 22.
The 42-year-old denied stalking, and assault by beating, in Sandown, between March 14 and March 19.
He is also charged with criminal damage in Sandown, on March 18, and theft from a shop in Sandown on March 13.
Mr Matlock is accused of throwing yoghurt over a woman, repeatedly visiting her home address, and taking a brick to the window of her front door.
Of the theft charge, he is accused of stealing various groceries to the value of £46.80 from the Co-operative on Sandown High Street.
Mr Matlock saw his case adjourned for a trial on June 27.
He was granted conditional bail.
