AN ISLE of Wight teenager with a staggering 18 offences, including aggravated vehicle taking and burglary, will go before a judge later this year.
Roobin Jones, of no fixed abode, appeared before Isle of Wight magistrates on Friday, March 22.
The 19-year-old admitted three counts of burglary, in Newport, Cowes and Ryde, between November 10 and November 27 of last year, and a single count of attempted burglary in Ryde, on October 21 of last year.
He also admitted three counts of aggravated vehicle taking, three counts of taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent, and seven counts of driving without insurance.
The charges relate to dates between September 22, 2023, and November 27, 2023.
The court heard Jones entered dwellings as a trespasser on Nelson Road, Nelson Drive, and High Park Road, stealing car keys.
Among the vehicles he took was a Ferrari, a Range Rover, a VW Polo, a Ford Transit, an Audi A6, and a Ford Focus.
Jones saw his case adjourned to April 30 at the Isle of Wight Crown Court.
He was remanded in custody until that date, and magistrates ordered that a pre-sentence report be drawn up.
