The Isle of Wight winners of the 2023 Green Impact Awards have been revealed.
At a ceremony on Friday, March 15, 12 businesses were rewarded for their commitment to sustainability.
They earned recognition across four award categories: platinum, gold, silver, and bronze.
Their efforts included work on energy efficiency, waste reduction, biodiversity, and ethical procurement and there were special awards for individuals and teams who went the extra mile.
The top platinum awards went to Vikoma International and Nettlecombe Farm.
Gold winners were Visit Isle of Wight, Wildheart Animal Sanctuary, WightFibre and NOSY Creative Agency.
A silver award was handed to OnTheWight.
Meanwhile, bronze awards went to Building 41, Sandham Office Services, Gurit (UK) Ltd and Mitchell Evans.
Councillor Julie Jones-Evans, Isle of Wight Council's cabinet member for economy, regeneration, culture and leisure, said: “Every small action we take contributes to a significant impact.
“We encourage other local businesses to join the scheme and sign up for this initiative, in 2024.”
