A multi-agency operation saw addresses in Ryde on the Isle of Wight visited by police, firefighters, immigration and the council on Monday, March 18.
It formed part of efforts to safeguard individuals working in the care sector.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said the action was in response to concerns raised to police and partners.
No criminal offences were identified, the force confirmed, but all agencies will be conducting follow up enquiries.
Monkton Street and Osborne Road in Ryde were among the areas of focus.
A spokesperson for Hampshire and Isle of Wight Fire and Rescue Service told the County Press: "We work in partnership with various organisations to identify those at risk, ensuring the relevant agency is notified of any concerns and the appropriate support can be offered.
"This multi-agency working ensures a collaborative approach to responding to safeguarding concerns and reducing risks.
"In partnership with police, the local authority, and immigration, visits were carried out at a number of addresses in Ryde as part of efforts to safeguard individuals working in the care sector."
The County Press has asked the Isle of Wight Council for a comment.
