A teenager has been charged with possession of a Stanley knife in a public place following an incident in Newport on the Isle of Wight.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary was called to Angelica Grove, Bluebell Meadows, Newport at 2.36pm this afternoon (Tuesday, March 19).
Police received reports of a domestic-related disturbance outside an address.
Officers attended and arrested a man.
Jayden Dewhurst, 18 and of Hunnyhill, Newport, was subsequently charged with possession of a bladed article, namely a Stanley knife, in a public place.
He has been bailed to appear at Isle of Wight Magistrates’ Court on April 2.
