AN ISLE of Wight voyeur caught in possession of explicit bestiality and child sex abuse images at Gatwick Airport is due to be sentenced next month.
The case of Herman Kriel, of Swanmore Road, Ryde, was heard before Crawley magistrates on Friday, March 8.
The 50-year-old is charged with voyeurism, at Gatwick Airport, on May 9 of last year, and possession of extreme pornographic images, between January 1, 2013, and April 13, 2022.
He is also charged with three counts of possession of indecent photographs/pseudo-photographs of a child, between January 1, 2013, and April 13, 2022.
Of the indecent photographs, 255 were Category A – the worst kind – 319 were Category B, and 62 were Category C.
The court heard the extreme pornographic images – 141 of them – comprised explicit acts involving live animals, namely a dog and a horse.
Kriel admitted the charges and saw his case adjourned for sentencing at Lewes Crown Court on April 5.
He was granted unconditional bail until that date.
