A SANDOWN man will end up out of pocket by more than £1,000 after not responding to court over a motoring offence.
Jack Muir, of The Fairway, failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a vehicle when required by law.
The 34-year-old's case was heard at Southampton Magistrates' Court on March 12.
Court heard that Muir failed to give information relating to the identification of the driver of a Ford Galaxy, who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence in December 2021 in Southampton.
A reminder letter was sent to the defendant but there had been no acceptable response.
A speeding matter was withdrawn.
Muir must pay a £660 fine, costs of £310 and a surcharge of £66 - totalling £1,036. He must pay in full by April 9.
His licence was endorsed with six penalty points.
