The passenger service has been cancelled due to a “technical issue within the starboard Jet room” on Red Jet 7, said Red Funnel.
The Red Jet sailings at 10.20am from Southampton and 10.55am from Cowes were cancelled due to the same technical issue.

One disgruntled customer replied to the announcement on X, formally Twitter, describing Red Funnel as a “joke service,” explaining they had called the operator at 10.45am and were told the 12.05 service would run.
