A 13-year-old Isle of Wight boy has been named the Dutch regional Pokemon champion, and is currently ranked 10th in the world.
This year, Cassender 'Cass' Morey, whose favourite Pokemon is Torchic, has his eyes on the big prize - a trip to play the competition in Hawaii and the chance to be named World Champion.
In 2023, Cass travelled to Japan to play the Trading Card Game and, this year, he's been invited to attend the competition in Hawaii.
Cass has previously competed in Bilbao in Spain, France, Poland, Malmo in Sweden, and Germany.
Most recently, he was in Utrecht in the Netherlands, winning the final after 11 rounds, over two days.
In April, he will head to the International Championship, at London's Excel centre and the finals in Stockholm, Sweden, in May.

In January, in Liverpool, he managed a semi-final finish in the UK Regional Championship.
The Japanese franchise, Pokemon, involves battling with creatures that have special powers.
The card game version is for two players, using 60-card decks to battle.
Cards feature Pokemon characters players take turns using attacks to try to defeat their opponent.
