Mountain Warehouse moved in to 168 High Street in 2018. Before that, the building had sat empty for eight years.
It used to home discount stores Beamans and Quids Inn.
Mountain Warehouse is due to shut on March 30.
The clothing retailer also has a store in Newport, having moved in to the former Co-op site on Pyle Street last year.
It had previously been on Newport High Street, where it was based for 12 years.
