THE Royal Navy bomb disposal team has been called to an incident on the Isle of Wight this evening (Thursday).
Bomb disposal experts are in attendance on Prospect Road in Newport.

They can be seen wearing gloves and carrying plastic evidence bags, entering and exiting a property.
A single undercover police unit is also understood to be in the area.
No police cordon is in place.
