A family-run Isle of Wight pub has reopened after an extensive refurbishment.
Believed to be the oldest pub in Wootton, The Woodmans Arms has been shut for the past eight weeks.
It was to allow for works to rebuild the building's rotting timber base, as well as the bar and 'snug area'.

Brothers Harry and Ronnie Fletcher, who took over the pub in 2017, say a new floor has now been fitted.
In the refurbished 'snug area', there are new chairs and new tables have been made.
A new till system, equipped with tablets, has also been installed and there are new products on the pumps and in the fridges.
The pub has even been given a fresh lick of paint with a new colour scheme and curtains to match.
Harry said: "In two months we have got a lot done!
"We've also had a whole new revamp of the back of house to make serving people a lot more efficient."
When the brothers took over seven years ago, they said they were more like best mates who don't really argue.
The pub reopened on March 4.
