After an Isle of Wight church was told it could no longer be the base of Newport's foodbank, a temporary home has been secured.
For the past 12 years, the Church on the Roundabout, Coppins Bridge, has operated as one of the Isle of Wight Foodbank's five Island centres.
But this changed last month (February) after the charity raised concerns over its 'unsafe' location for deliveries.
Although the IW Foodbank said the decision to relocate was a 'joint one', the church said the news was unexpected and that it was “sad and disappointed”.

Now, a new home for Newport's foodbank has been secured - at least until a permanent one can be found.
Having opened on March 1, it is based at Newport Parish Centre, on Town Lane, Newport.
A spokesperson for the IW Foodbank, which is supported by the The Trussell Trust, said: "We’re grateful to the parish centre for their support to serve our community."
It will open every Friday afternoon from 12:30pm to 2:30pm.
