As residents overlooking Lake Common, we are disgusted to see that the Isle of Wight Council has done nothing to assist in the removal of this monstrosity.

We, as a community, have been passed from pillar to post, each department refusing to take responsibility for its removal.

Perhaps publicity from the press would encourage them to do something. 

This has been going on for about six weeks now and this discarded boat trailer is now rotting away in the ditch on the common.
