AN ISLE of Wight man must pay a hefty sum for failing to identify the driver of a Vauxhall Astra.
The case of Andrew Oxley, of Wilkes Road, Sandown, was heard before Boston magistrates in Lincolnshire on Thursday, February 22.
The 53-year-old was charged with failure to provide information relating to the identification of a driver, on September 7, 2023.
The court heard he failed to identify the driver of a Vauxhall Astra, who was alleged to have been guilty of an offence.
A further charge of speeding was withdrawn.
Oxley was fined £660, and his driving record was endorsed with six penalty points.
He was ordered to pay costs of £110 and a £264 surcharge.
