POLICE are investigating a string off thefts of sun cream from Boots stores across the Isle of Wight worth an estimated £10,000.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary say there was a series of high value shoplifting incidents on Monday this week.
Boots stores in Bembridge, Freshwater, Ryde, Shanklin, Newport, Sandown and Ventnor were targeted, with an estimated £10,000 worth of sun cream stolen.
Officers are working with the stores hit and continue to make inquiries to identify those responsible.
