Family-owned business Isle of Wight Pearl is to invest £200,000 in the redesign of its much-loved cafe.
For more than three decades, the popular attraction has welcomed generations of locals and visitors to its showroom on the iconic Military Road.
One of the highlights is The Pearl Cafe, which boasts stunning sea views.
Venue manager, Lizzie Wade, said relaunching the cafe will ensure visitors keep coming back for more.
She said: “We have 35 years experience as a leading destination on the Isle of Wight and are confident we can deliver new and exciting experiences to our customers again and again starting with our café redesign."
The cafe is set to get a new look in the spring/summer.
New windows will be installed allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the iconic view and feel 'more connected' to the environment.
There will also be a new seating area and conservatory redesign with a nod to the Island’s Victorian heritage.
The Pearl Cafe will continue to support local suppliers by offering Island produce, including food and drink.
Lizzie said: “We have worked hard to bring local ingredients and locally sourced food into the cafe and it’s been incredibly popular.
"We are championing the culinary ingredients we have right here on the Island as well as showing a commitment to supporting local businesses."
