Some Isle of Wight train services are cancelled this evening (Sunday), between 5pm and 8.30pm.
The 5.14pm, 6.14pm, 7.14pm and 8.18pm from Ryde Esplanade, and the 5.47pm, 6.47pm and 7.51pm from Shanklin are all off, with staff shortages being blamed.

Meanwhile, the operator is forward warning us of a five-day Island Line closure, between Friday, March 8, and Tuesday, March 12, from Ryde Pier Head to Shanklin.
Work is to be carried out on the line and rail replacement shuttle buses will operate over that period.
