A NEW trial date has been set for a Wootton man accused of assaulting his partner at the Isle of Wight hospital.
George Swain, of Mary Rose Avenue, Wootton, appeared before Isle of Wight magistrates on Friday, February 23.
The 25-year-old denies assault occasioning actual bodily harm, in Newport, on February 3 of this year.
He is accused of attacking his partner in a cubicle at St Mary’s Hospital.
Mr Swain saw his case adjourned for a trial on March 22.
He was remanded in custody.
