Forest Road has now been cleared following a crash at the junction of Gunville Road on the Isle of Wight this evening (Thursday, February 22).
Emergency teams were called at around 6.30pm to reports of a two-vehicle crash on Forest Road in Newport.

Police, fire and paramedic teams were sent to the scene of the crash, which blocked the road for traffic travelling towards Vittlefields Cross and West Wight.
Firefighters provided initial treatment to two people who were hurt and made the vehicles safe, the fire service told the Isle of Wight County Press.

Divisions were in place while emergency teams dealt with the incident, with Gunville Road closed for a time and traffic approaching Forest Road diverted back towards Newport via Taylor Road.
The number seven Southern Vectis bus between Newport and Totland was diverted through Elm Lane via the Middle Road but has since returned to its usual route.
Gunville Road has reopened, and traffic has returned to normal on Forest Road.
The vehicles have been cleared from the scene and taken away from teams from Bartletts Service Station.

Police said they were called at 6.26pm yesterday to a report of a road traffic collision on the junction of Gunville Road and Forest Road in Newport.
The collision involved a Fiat 500 and a Ford Focus.
Minor injuries were reported.
