It won't have escaped Islanders' attention that an upside down house has appeared on an Isle of Wight seafront.
The strange looking building is being installed on Shanklin Esplanade.
Speculation as to what exactly it could be and why it was there ran rife on social media last week.
It has popped up on the grounds of the Pirates Cove Fun Park.
It can now be revealed that it is a brand new "immersive" attraction being introduced for 2024, suitable for all ages.
A spokesperson for the company behind Shanklin Seafront told the County Press: "Visitors can navigate through, spending time to take photos to capture the optical illusions created in the house."
A number of locations across the UK already have an upside down house, including Clarence Pier, Southsea, Brighton and Bournemouth, which are run by a separate company.
The opening date of the Island's upside down house is subject to installation being complete but it is hoped it will be open in early May.
The name of the attraction is yet to be revealed.
