WHEN you are out and about around the Isle of Wight this coming week, be sure to know which roadworks to avoid.

BRIGHSTONE: Hoxall Lane will shut during utility works, along its entire length, from 8am on Monday until 4pm on Wednesday. An alternative route will be signposted locally.

VENTNOR: Woolverton Road will close during utility works, along its entire length, from 8am on Tuesday until 4pm on Friday, March 1. An alternative route will be signposted locally.

BRADING: Quay Lane will shut during utility works, along its entire length, from 8am on Monday until 4pm on Thursday. There is no alternative route. 

Also, Lower Road will close during utility works, between its junctions with The Mall and Sheep Lane, between 9.30am and 3.30pm on Monday. An alternative route will be signposted locally.

New Road will shut during carriageway repair works, between its junctions with Marshcombe Shute and Brading Footpath 71, over one shift sometime between Tuesday and Thursday. An alternative route will be signposted locally.

NEWPORT: Dodnor Lane will close during drainage works, from its junction with Monk's Brook along its entire length, over one shift sometime between Monday and Wednesday. There is no alternative route.

Also, Medina Way will shut during barrier repair works, between its junctions with Holyrood Street and Parkhurst Road, over four shifts sometime between 7.30pm and 11pm on each night. An alternative route will be signposted locally.

MERSTONE: Chapel Lane will shut during utility works, along its entire length, from 8am on Monday until 4pm on Friday, March 22. There is no alternative route.

FRESHWATER: Everard Close will close during utility works, along its entire length, from 8am on Monday until 4pm on Friday, March 1. There is no alternative route.

GODSHILL: Bathingbourne Lane will shut during utility works. between its junctions with Macketts Lane and Lessland Lane, between 9.30am and 3.30pm on Monday. An alternative route will be signposted locally.

NEWBRIDGE: Clay Lane will close during drainage works, from its junction at Main Road along its entire length, over one shift sometime between Monday and Wednesday. There is no alternative route

SHANKLIN: Luccombe Road will shut during utility works, between its junctions with Woodlands and Rylstone Gardens, from 9.30am on Monday until 3.30pm on Tuesday.

Also, Rylstone Gardens will close during utility works, between its junction with Luccombe Road until the end of the highway.

Alternative routes will be signposted locally.

CALBOURNE: Lynch Lane will shut during utility works, between its junctions with Winkle Street and Calbourne and Porchfield Footpath 19, between 9am on Wednesday until 5pm on Sunday, March 3. 

Also, Pump Lane will shut during drainage works, between its junctions with Five Houses Lane and Calbourne Road, over one shift sometime between Monday and Wednesday.

Town Lane will shut during drainage works, between its junctions with Whiteoak Lane and Gold Street, over one shift sometime between Wednesday and Friday, March 1.

Pound Lane will shut during drainage works, between its junctions with Yarmouth Road and Pound Cottage access road, over one shift sometime between Wednesday and Friday, March 1.

Alternative routes will be signposted locally.

YARMOUTH: High Street will shut during utility works, between its junctions with South Street and Basketts Lane, and its junctions between its junctions with Basketts Lane and Yarmouth Footpath 12. The one-way restriction on South Street will be revoked, between its junctions with High Street and Ommaney Road, as well as along High Street, between its junctions with Yarmouth Footpath 16 and Tennyson Road. The works will be phased with an alternative route signposted locally.

WROXALL: Manor Road and Stenbury View will close during utility works, along their entire lengths, between 8am on Monday and 4pm on Tuesday. There will be no alternative routes.

NITON: Newport Road will shut during carriageway repair works, between its junctions with Southford Lane and Kingates Lane, over one shift sometime between Monday and Tuesday. An alternative route will be signposted locally.

PORCHFIELD: Colemans Lane will close during drainage works, between its junctions with Locks Green Road and Calbourne and Porchfield Bridleway 26, over one shift sometime between Wednesday and Friday, March 1.

Also, Underwood Lane will shut during drainage works, between its junctions with Yarmouth Road and Locks Green Road, over two shifts sometime between Wednesday and Friday, March 1.

Alternative routes will be signposted locally.

CHALE: Southdown will close during tree works, between its junctions with Military Road and Atherfield Road, over one shift sometime on Thursday. An alternative route will be signposted locally.

SEAVIEW: Seafield Road will shut during utility works, along its entire length, with a one-way restriction introduced along Salterns Road, from its junction with Bluett Avenue and Fairy Road, heading south. An alternative route will be signposted locally.
