Two weather warnings for strong winds come into force for the Isle of Wight this morning (Thursday).
The Met Office alert comes into force at 8am, while an Isle of Wight Met Service alert is in place from 10am.
Local forecaster Jamie Russell, of the Met Service, predicts gusts as high as 70-75mph in some areas.

The Met Office warns of disruption to journey times caused by possible cancellations to ferry services.
What to expect (according to the Met Office)
- There is a slight chance of some damage to buildings, such as tiles blown from roofs
- There is a slight chance that power cuts may occur, with the potential to affect other services, such as mobile phone coverage
- There is a small chance that injuries and danger to life could occur from large waves and beach material being thrown onto sea fronts, coastal roads and properties
- There is a small chance of injuries and danger to life from flying debris
- There is a small chance that some roads and bridges could close
The Met Office warning is in place until 6pm.
The Isle of Wight Met Service warning is active until 4pm.
