A manhunt for the driver of a Mini involved in crash near Godshill on the Isle of Wight has led to the arrest of a 16-year-old, on suspicion of drug driving and driving without a licence, among other offences.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said it was called to Niton Road at 5pm yesterday (Monday).
It happened at on the S-bend near Godshill, between Roud Road and Chequers Inn Road.
The collision involved two vehicles - a Mini and a Nissan.

Police said the two occupants of the Mini decamped from the vehicle and left the scene after the collision.
No injuries were reported.
A 16-year-old boy from Newport was later arrested on suspicion of a number of offences.
These include driving a mechanically propelled vehicle on a road / in a public place without due care and attention; driving a motor vehicle otherwise in accordance with a licence; driving a motor vehicle with a proportion of a specified controlled drug above the specified limit; and using a motor vehicle on a road / public place without third party insurance.
He has been released on bail until May 19.
