A main Isle of Wight road will see some disruption later today (Monday, February 19) as investigations will be carried out after a small landslip which is obstructing part of the carriageway.
A section of embankment on Newport Road near Niton, just down from Southford Lane, has seen 'some slippage' onto the road.
Teams from Island Roads are said to be heading to the location to install temporary traffic lights.
An investigation will be launched to determine the cause of the landslip and whether any action is necessary.
The road remains open, but motorists are advised to take care if travelling through the area.
