THE IW Met Service has issued a yellow weather warning for the Isle of Wight – for heavy rain.
The warning goes live at 4am tomorrow (Sunday), an runs until 10am.
Saturday night and into Sunday morning, persistent rainfall is expected.
Local forecaster, Jamie Russell, says a spell of heavy rain will move through our area from dawn.
Between 20mm and 25mm of rainfall is anticipated in some areas, rising as high as 30mm.
A Met Office weather warning is already active for the Isle of Wight, and runs until 9am tomorrow.
The warning went live at 3pm today, and was initially set to be active until 6pm on Sunday.
The Met Office says to expect spells of rain, sometimes heavy, and disruption is likely.
