THE case against an Isle of Wight man accused of being drunk and disorderly and disobeying police has collapsed.
Andrew Conway-Hyde, of High Street, Sandown, appeared before Isle of Wight magistrates on Wednesday, February 14.
At a previous hearing, the 55-year-old denied being drunk and disorderly in a public place and failing to give his name and address to police, on July 10.
On Wednesday, the Crown Prosecution Service offered no evidence on both counts.
Mr Conway-Hyde was given a bind over in the sum of £240 for 12 months to keep the peace.
