Thousands of pounds was stolen in a late night burglary at a town centre Co-op store on the Isle of Wight.
Two people have been arrested on suspicion of burglary.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary said it was called to the Sandown High Street shop after an intruder alarm was activated.
Police were alerted at around 10.15pm.
On arrival, officers noticed entry had been forced to the premises and £5,000 in cash was stolen.
An hour later, a 33-year-old man and 37-year-old man, both from Southampton, were arrested in Castle Street, East Cowes.
They were arrested on suspicion of burglary other than dwelling and conspire to commit a burglary other than dwelling with intent to steal.
Both remain in police custody at this time.
