There are no plans for a shuttle service for residents of a landslip hit road in Bonchurch on the Isle of Wight, the Island's bus company has said.
Since a major landslide in December, Leeson Road has been shut.
There is access to residents' homes but buses have not been serving the road at all and services between Shanklin's Daish's Hotel and Chimney Steps have been suspended until further notice.
For residents living there, it means a lengthy walk up or down the hill to another stop - the nearest one being Ventnor’s Trinity Church.

There had been rumours of a shuttle service but Southern Vectis has confirmed that won't be provided by the bus company.
Simon Moye, Southern Vectis operations manager, told the County Press: “The current issue for us is that there is no suitable location to turn a large vehicle in the area affected.
“We are suggesting that people use the current 31 service, operated by Ventnor Town Council, whilst the road is closed.
“I’d like to apologise to our passengers for any inconvenience during this service disruption, which is unfortunately beyond our control.”
Ventnor Town Council is looking at the possibility of extended the route of the number 31 bus, funded by a grant available via the Isle of Wight Council.
This is on the agenda for the extraordinary town council meeting on Tuesday, February 20.
Amid the ongoing road closure, the bus firm has also released a temporary timetable for its route three.
