WHEN you are out and about around the Isle of Wight this coming week, be sure to know which roadworks to avoid.
FRESHWATER: Camp Road will shut during utility works, along its entire length, from 8am on Monday until 4pm on Wednesday, February 28.
Also, Norton Green will close during utility works, between its junctions with Colwell Road and Norton Green Industrial Park, from 9.30am on Monday until 3.30pm on Tuesday, February 27.
And Longhalves Lane will shut during footway repair works, between its junctions with Parkers Hill and Freshwater Bridleway 18, over one shift sometime between Monday and Wednesday.
Alternative routes will be signposted locally.
BRADING: West Lane will close during carriageway repair works, between its junctions with Brading Byway 21 and Harding Shute, over one shift sometime between Monday and Wednesday.
Also, Lower Road will shut during carriageway repair works, between its junctions with Upper Road and Brading Footpath 51, over one shift sometime between Monday and Wednesday.
Alternative routes will be signposted locally.
SHALFLEET: Main Road, Ningwood, will shut during drainage works, between its junctions with Corfe Road and Mill Road, over one shift sometime between Monday and Thursday.
Also, Freshwater Road will close during drainage works, between its junctions with Newbridge Road and Calbourne and Porchfield Bridleway 16, over two shifts sometime between Monday and Tuesday.
Warlands Lane will shut during carriageway repair works, between its junctions with Fleet Way and Church Lane, over two shifts sometime between Wednesday and Friday, February 23.
Wellow Top Road will close during drainage works, between its junctions with Coopers Lane and Wellow Farm access road.
Dodpits Lane will shut during drainage works, along its entire length, over one shift sometime between Wednesday and Friday, February 23.
Alternative routes will be signposted locally.
HAVENSTREET: Main Road will close during utility works, between its junctions with St Peters Court and Church Road, from 8am on Monday until 5pm on Friday, February 23. An alternative route will be signposted locally.
WHITWELL: Kemming Road will shut during utility works, between its junctions with Ventnor Road and Bannock Road, from 8am on Monday until 6pm on Wednesday. An alternative route will be signposted locally.
BRIGHSTONE: Muggleton Lane will close during utility works, between its junctions with Lower Limerstone Lane and Mill Lane, from 8am on Wednesday until 4pm on Tuesday. An alternative route will be signposted locally.
CHALE: Newman Lane will shut during utility works, along its entire length, from 8am on Monday until 4pm on Friday, March 1. An alternative route will be signposted locally.
RYDE: Brading Footpath 72 will close during utility works, along its entire length, between 6pm and 11pm daily, from Monday until Thursday.
Also, Melville Street will shut during utility works, between its junctions with Vernon Square and Belvedere Street, from 7pm on Thursday until 6.30am on Friday, February 23.
Alternative routes will be signposted locally.
VENTNOR: Steephill Court Road will shut during utility works, along its entire length, from 8am on Monday until 4pm on Friday, February 23. An alternative route will be signposted locally.
Also, Alpine Road and Church Road will close during utility works, along their entire lengths, between 8pm on Tuesday and 6am on Wednesday. An alternative route will be signposted locally.
Hamborough Road will shut during utility works, along its entire length, with the one-way restriction revoked and a 'Waiting at any time' parking restriction introduced on both sides, between 8pm on Tuesday until 6am on Wednesday.
Belgrave Road will close during utility works, along its entire length, between 8pm on Tuesday and 6am on Wednesday. An alternative route will be signposted locally.
TOTLAND: Uplands Road will shut during utility works, between its junctions with Colmar Way and Kendal Road, from 9am on Monday until 5pm on Thursday. An alternative route will be signposted locally.
BEMBRIDGE: Sandown Road will close during utility works, between its junctions with Hillway Road and Bembridge Byway 37, between 9.30am and 3.30pm daily, between Monday and Friday, February 23. An alternative route will be signposted locally.
GODSHILL: Merstone Lane will shut during utility works, between its junctions with Bury Lane and Newlands, from 8am on Thursday until 4pm on Wednesday, February 27. An alternative route will be signposted locally.
SEAVIEW: Oakhill Road will close during utility works, along its entire length, from 8am on Monday until 4.30pm on Thursday. An alternative route will be signposted locally.
NORTHWOOD: Hillis Gate Road will shut during utility works, between its junction with Noke Common and a point 100m north-west therefore, between 9am and 3.30pm on Tuesday. An alternative route will be signposted locally.
NEWPORT: Trafalgar Road will close during utility works, between its junctions with St Johns Place and Union Street, with a one-way restriction introduced along St Johns Place, between its junctions with Trafalgar Road and St Johns Road, from 8am on Monday until 6pm on Friday, March 1. An alternative route will be signposted locally.
