A BUS driver from the Isle of Wight accused of causing serious injury to three passengers due to the standard of his driving of a double decker, is due to appear in court.
Former Southern Vectis employee Paul Brookes, of New Road, Brading, will appear at the Isle of Wight Magistrates' Court, today (Tuesday).
The 49-year-old will face three charges of causing serious injury by dangerous driving, relating to a single vehicle road traffic incident on East Lane, Arreton, on December 1, 2021.
As reported at the time, the bus had left the carriageway and ended up in a farmer's field on all four wheels.
