A popular Isle of Wight Chinese restaurant will reopen next month after poor weather caused delays to its renovation work and left it closed during the winter season.
Dragon Pearl Chinese Restaurant in Shanklin will open its doors after more than four months, having closed for kitchen renovations on October 22 last year.
The Atherley Road eatery is voted in the top ten restaurants on the Island by Tripadvisor and ranks as the second-best Chinese restaurant.

The restaurant, which aims to provide a luxury dining experience and offers extensive eat-in and takeaway menus, had hoped to re-welcome customers at the end of November.
However, due to ‘weather and some controllable factors’ causing delays to the renovation, Dragon Pearl later announced it would be unable to open during the Christmas season.
Confirming on Facebook, the restaurant has shared the exciting news that it will reopen on Friday, March 1, from 5pm to 10pm as usual.
Customers took to social media to show their joy at the news, welcoming the restaurant back and commenting on how much they had missed the food.
