A police investigation has been launched after a woman was allegedly bitten by a dog outside a convenience store on the Isle of Wight.
This afternoon (Friday, February 9), officers were alerted to reports that a Shih Tzu had bitten a woman outside the Co-operative store on Mill Hill Road in Cowes.
The incident is understood to have happened shortly before 2pm.
A Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary spokesperson told the County Press that the incident is currently under investigation.
