The Environment Agency has issued a flood alert for the Isle of Wight coast, with extremely high tides expected due to the ongoing weather warning for heavy rain.
Friday morning's tide at 10am is expected to be higher than normal due to unsettled weather, with strong south westerly force five winds.
For approximately one hour, either side of high water, flooding of seafront roads, esplanades and car parks is expected.

Water levels will be very high in Cowes, affecting Medina Road (floating bridge), where the tide is expected to come up to the top of front door steps.
Sea Street in Newport is also expected to be badly affected.
In East Cowes, sea water will impact the roads, forced up through drains, with Well Road possibly worst hit.
The ferry terminal car park at Yarmouth will also flood, said the Environment Agency.
A series of spring tides with similar flood impacts will also be seen across this weekend.
A spokesperson said: "As a precautionary measure, and if you have it, we recommend that flood protection is installed at Medina Road one hour before high tide."
