An Isle of Wight couple say they are realising their "dream" as they take the helm of a popular seaside cafe/restaurant.
Angela Williams and Chaz Hughes are the new management team behind The Captain's Table, on Ryde seafront.
The couple, who have worked in the events and catering industry for more than 30 years, said the "exciting" opportunity came just at the right time.
Angela told the County Press: "We wanted a change from events and my dream was to eventually buy a beach side cafe.
"We viewed The Captain's Table and we saw from day one that we could turn this into an amazing cafe with good quality food and great service".
Angela and Chaz may be familiar faces to some, having worked at many events on the Island over the years, including at the Isle of Wight Garlic Festival.
They will run their newest venture alongside daughter, Millie.
The cafe is currently undergoing a refurbishment, with a new decking area being installed.
Angela said the cafe will also have a change of name.
"It's going to be amazing", she said.
No date has been confirmed for the reopening.
