MAGISTRATES have issued a warrant for the arrest of an Isle of Wight woman accused of a serious assault against a man, which caused injury.
Island magistrates ordered the issue of a warrant without bail on Verity Lloyd, of West Street, Ryde, this afternoon (Tuesday).
She had been due to appear in front of magistrates.
The 23-year-old is accused of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and causing criminal damage to a television, crockery, spectacles and a stereo system, in Newport, on September 24 last year.
