An Isle of Wight man has been arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill in Ryde.
Hampshire and Isle of Wight Constabulary was called to Ryde Esplanade at 8am this morning (Monday).
Police said they received a report of threats being made towards a woman.
No injuries were reported.
Officers attended an address made an arrest.
A 32-year-old man from Ryde was arrested on suspicion of making threats to kill and harassment.
He remains in custody.
Police said enquiries are ongoing.
