A FRESH batch of acts have been added to this year’s Isle of Wight Festival roster – including Jessie J and The Pretenders.
The festival, which returns to Seaclose Park this summer, already boasted an enviable lineup, with the likes of The Prodigy, Pet Shop Boys and Green Day all headlining the main stage.
Also among the first wave of acts to be announced were The Streets, Keane, Simple Minds, iconic Britpop band Suede, Scouting For Girls, and renowned DJ Jo Whiley.
But now, the likes of Jessie J, The Pretenders, and Natalie Imbruglia have been added to the roster.
The next wave of acts also includes Johnny Marr, Feeder, S Club, Tom Meighan, Cian Ducrot, Caity Baser and Wunderhorse.
Tickets for the festival, which runs from Thursday, June 20, to Sunday, June 23, have been on general sale since November of last year.
Headlining the main stage on the Friday night will be English electronic group The Prodigy, who also played here in 2006, 2009 and 2015.
On Saturday, legendary duo Pet Shop Boys will take to the main stage.
They will perform as part of their Dreamworld tour, which has been described as "an ecstatic presentation of 40 years of brilliance".
American rock heroes Green Day will close the show on the Sunday, with their first ever Isle of Wight Festival performance.
