Isle of Wight trains have been suspended this afternoon (Thursday, February 1) after reports of a trespasser on the railway tracks.
Trains between Ryde Pier Head and Shanklin have been suspended, with disruption expected until around 7pm.
Island Line staff members are assisting the individual to a place of safety, and power to the tracks has been switched off.
This means all lines are currently blocked.
A spokesperson for South Western Railway, which runs Island Line, said: "For further information or onward travel advice, please speak to a member of staff or use a station help point.
"We are very sorry for any delay that this may cause to your journey."
UPDATE:
Following a trespasser on the railway between Ryde Pier Head and Shanklin, all lines have now reopened.
