ALL the pain in the wrestling ring will be gain for the fight fan as Island Warfare 6 hits the canvas on the Isle of Wight tomorrow (Saturday).
Unbeaten international superstar of the United States' Ring of Honour, Zak 'The Zodiac' Knight, makes his Outcast Pro Wrestling (OPW) debut at Ryde Academy.
Island Warfare 6, set to be the biggest event staged by OPW yet, which will also feature the first-ever NXT tag team champion, Joel Redman, multi-national championship winner, Kelly Sixx, as well as Isle of Wight-based favourites.
The opening contest will be for the OPW Heavyweight Championship, between ‘the hairiest man in wrestling’, Victor Logan, an OPW Triple Crown winner, up against Redman, regarded as one of the UK's best wrestlers currently.
There will be two promising, in-form young tag teams in action — OPW tag champions Hazza Williams and Corey take on Youth Gone Wild, comprising Azzy Adams and Nikki Young.
The third match of the night is Anarchy Rules, a tag team battle between 'The Sickness' and 'The Virus', in which there will be no count out or disqualification, with pinfall or submission the only means of victory.
Two former OPW heavyweight champions, Kelly Sixx, will take on ‘The Bad Seed’, JJ Volare, will also lock horns.
The Zodiac, a legend of British pro wrestling, will then take on OPW's Spartan International champion, Jackson Arrow, in a huge singles bout.
Arrow will be looking for revenge after losing to The Zodiac in contest in Essex.
The main event, Island Warfare 6, will see 20 wrestlers battle it out for OPW's Isle of Wight Championship title, with the only way to win being to eliminate every opponent by pinfall or submission — and be the last man standing!
Doors open 5.30pm, with the first bell at 6.30pm.
