Passengers have met with Monday morning delays this morning thanks to the Red Jet service being suspended.

Red Funnel announced that the Red Jet service between Cowes and Southampton is suspended until further notice this morning (Monday, January 29).

It is due to an oil leak on the port jet unit of Red Jet 6, which coincides with Red Jet 7 undertaking her annual refit.

The next update is at 11am.

Red Funnel apologises for the inconvenience caused to passengers.

The East Cowes to Southampton car ferries are running to timetable and offer an alternative crossing.
