Michelin-star chef Robert Thompson appears to be behind plans for a new restaurant and cafe/grill near an Isle of Wight seafront.
A licensing application made to the Isle of Wight Council reveals proposals to turn Royal Maritime House, on St Thomas's Street, Ryde, into RTCaféGrill and Thompson's.
Plans show RTCaféGrill would be on the ground floor, alongside a lounge and bar area.
Outside, there would be a garden bar and, should weather allow it, outdoor seating.
The lower ground floor would be for Thompson's.
The application, submitted by Robert Thompson, of Wight Table Limited, is seeking a premises license to start on 22 February, 2024.
The third and fourth floors of the building would continue to be used as office space, the application states.
