A power cut on the Isle of Wight has led to reports of faulty traffic lights on the dual carriageway this afternoon (Wednesday, January 10).

The outage was reported to the Scottish and Southern Electricity Network (SSEN) at 1.50pm.
Around 60 postcodes are affected, all in the PO30 area, with an estimated 770 customers without power.
According to Power Track, SSEN aim to restore power by 6pm.
The traffic lights at the end of Forest Road onto the dual carriageway are understood to not be working. Please take care if travelling through the area.
Island Roads have been notified.
