Isle of Wight ferry disruption is to be expected tomorrow (Friday, December 22), with Red Funnel announcing a series of changes to its timetable.
The ferry company has confirmed that ten scheduled vehicle ferry crossings from 5.15am to 6.45pm have been affected.
According to Red Funnel, the 5.15am, 8.15am and 11.15am sailings from Southampton and the 6.40am, 9.40am and 12.40pm from East Cowes are no longer available to passengers.
These ferries will now only operate as freight-only services.
Later in the day, the 2.15pm and 5.15pm crossings from Southampton and the 3.45pm and 6.45pm from East Cowes have been cancelled, Red Funnel have announced.
This is due to 'ongoing essential maintenance' on the Red Falcon vehicle ferry.
A spokesperson for the cross-Solent travel operator said: “We apologise for any inconvenience to your journey.”
